Overview
Commercial Painting in Tauranga & the Bay of Plenty
Bay Spec Painting works with property managers, developers, construction companies and project managers on commercial painting across Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.
Commercial work is as much about planning, coordination and communication as it is about the coating. We resource the job properly, work to the programme, and keep the building usable while we are in it.
What the work involves
Scope and specification review
We work from architectural specifications, schedules and colour documentation, and flag anything that needs resolving before work starts.
Programme and staging
Areas are staged and sequenced with the main contractor or building manager so trades are not tripping over each other.
Preparation and application
Substrate preparation, sealing and finish coats using brush, roller and airless spray application as the specification and environment require.
Handover and defect close-out
Progressive inspections, documented sign-off and prompt close-out of any items raised at practical completion.
Our approach
Site coordination with main contractors, project managers and building owners from the start rather than after a clash appears.
Health and safety, site inductions and access requirements handled as part of the job, not as an afterthought.
Work staged around trading hours where a business needs to keep operating, including after-hours and weekend work.
